Pvt. David M. Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. David O. Jackson of Knightstown Indiana, finished a seven week armor track vehicle mechanic course at the Army Armor Center Fort Knox March 1. The 18 year old entered the Army in August 1964 and graduated Spice land High School in 1964. Pvt Kellis Veach, son of Mrs. Howard Windsor of Carthage, has been at Fort Knox for boot camp training the past three weeks.

Widow Lillie Wilson Killed in Rush County Accident
Mrs Lillie Wilson 87 widow of Jesse Wilson died after being struck by a car on the Carthage Mays road near her home. She suffered a broken neck and multiple injuries and died instantly. Funeral services were held Thursday at Wyatt Moore Memorial Rushville with burial in Center Cemetery. Survivors include two sons Maurice and Paul, two daughters Nora Dimnett and Lois Divilbiss, plus three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
