Local Carthage Notes Skim Daily Happenings
Carthage readers get a bustling slice of town life from neighbors Dick and George McNabb Jr and Freddie Norris trying to start Doc's old Chrysler with help from Geo Jr and Freddie. Grace Jones at Eagle Lake sends a vacation update while Rushville visits include Hubert Alexander and family. The Indiana Highway Planning Survey to place an automatic traffic recorder near Carthage is noted, plus local celebrations for Riley and a new Corn calendar gift. Community chatter covers generals, crafting, housing, and a plug for softball funds as residents share news of births, marriages, and local business.
