Miss Rachel Elvira Wooten married William E Fitzmorris at noon Wednesday at the bride’s father Lee R Wooten’s home in Knightstown. Rev J Edgar Wil pastor officiated in the Carthage Friends Church in front of fifteen relatives. Guests included relatives from Indianapolis Greenfield Walnut Ridge and Rushville. The couple planned to reside in Kokomo where Fitzmorris works as a locomotive fireman.

Norton, who mentored her through Shortridge High, offers to keep her at home if she wishes. A married sister also lives near Poplar Bluff.
