A large stock of fireworks at Gus Pancele the merchant's shop in Anderson exploded on Friday. Two masked men held up the Pennsylvania station at Winchester Friday and obtained something not specified in the fragment.
In Columbia City a store firework display caused about 4000 dollars in losses as a plate glass window broke and fireworks littered the street. Several families and individuals are listed visiting relatives and returning home from various towns across Indiana.
The notice states telephone bills for the third quarter of 1925 are due by July 15 to save 75 cents for the quarter. Signed by J E Harper, Secretary, urging subscription to the Citizen.
Alon zo Sohn and Fred Sohn from Knightstown visited the Fourth. Mrs Howard H Brown and Doris Ruth from near Homer plus Miss Betty Blizard of Greenfield visited the Kings. Thirty six guests gathered at Mrs Harry Smith for a pitch-in honoring Mrs Emil Walker of New Castle. Attendees included the Thompson, Redding, Kennedy, Lockridge and Marsh families from Rushville Shiveley's Willow Branch and nearby areas.
Miss Eleanor Meyers of South Bend and Paul H. Peirce of the same city were married Saturday at 4 PM at Eagle Lake Michigan. Thelma Edwards was bridesmaid James Tarbet best man Rev T J Peirce officiated. The couple reside at 636 East Bronson Street South Bend.

A sister Miss Dora Mitchell also taught here for three years. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of Henry Wolf in Spencer.

Infant son of Mr and Mrs Yazell Jordan of Canyon City Colorado dies at 1 45 p m last Thursday at Thomas hospital Plainfield Indiana A brief hospital service was led by the Methodist pastor Mrs Alice Jordan traveled to Plainfield for the service and a subsequent service was held in Canyon City after returning home
State police visited Morris last Thursday night and found several cars parked with rear lamps unlit. Stickers were affixed warning that a second offense would carry a fine.

Threshing starts next week, east of town, Joe Moore’s crew on Elmer Ellis farm. Prices fair at county meet: oats 5c, wheat 8c, rye 10c. No special celebration but noise all day. Brief noon shower. Baseball game 3 pm. Night fireworks led by R H Hill, 130 pieces on the old mill lot lasting 45 minutes. Largest crowd of the year Saturday night.
