Lowell Beach Dies at 70 in Arlington Home
Lowell L Beach 70 retired Rush County highway worker died Sunday night at his Arlington home after two years of ill health. He lived in Arlington 50 years born January 7 1893 in Jennings County son of Olen and Florence Beach. He led local baseball and basketball teams and sang in an Arlington male quartet and belonged to Arlington Christian Church. Survivors include his widow Golda Henley Beach a son Sabert Beach a stepdaughter Mary Swain a stepson Earl Stout a sister Stella Posey a brother Ermal Beach seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services were held at Wyatt Moore Memorial Rushville with burial at Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
