Mr Carl Jessup of Charlottes ville is recovering from an appendectomy performed at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis Sunday morning.
Stanley Gillispie and Paul Winslow escaped serious injury when a car driven by Winslow was sideswiped by a large transport truck on State road 52 east of Arlington about ten o clock Saturday night. The 1934 V eight overturned, doors windshield radiator and headlights were damaged. Paul Winslow suffered a severely cut eye requiring three stitches. Stanley Gillispie had facial injuries and a nasal muscle tear. They were treated in Carthage by Dr. McNabb and released. The truck driver fled.
Cyrus Eben Inlow aged 72 died at his Manila home Monday night from heart trouble. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Shelbyville home of his brother and sisters with Rev. Paul E. Million and Rev. George Ross officiating. Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his widow three sons Dr W D Inlow Fred Inlow and Herbert Inlow all of Shelbyville one brother Will Inlow two sisters Mrs Emma Talbot and Miss Lucy J Inlow nine grandchildren and a daughter Mrs Amelia Sheedy who died a year ago.
