Death of Clarence Haskett in Charlottesville
Clarence Haskett died Thursday morning at 6:00 at Methodist Hospital from serious injuries after being struck by a car Friday night near his Charlottesville home. He had run out of gas near the foot of the hill, pushed the car, and was struck while returning to it. He sustained chest injuries and a deep gash on his right leg.

Heart Trouble Causes Death of Wm Wikle While Squirrel Hunting
William Wikle aged 52 from Anderson died of heart trouble Tuesday afternoon on the H E Henley farm three miles southwest of town. His Anderson companion reported he fell after raising his gun to shoot. Dr Shank of Arlington and County Coroner later examined. ambulance transported the body to Anderson.

Fall from hay mow injures Gates boy in Shelbyville
Buddy Gates age ten son of John V. Gates was taken to Major Hospital Shelbyville after falling twenty feet from a hay mow while searching for kittens. His jaw was broken and he received stitches for facial cuts. he is reported to be getting along nicely.

Death of Alonzo Cline Father of Mrs. V L Tetrick
Word reached Monday of the sudden death of Alonzo Cline a 62 year old brick mason from Fairmount. He helped build the new school and is survived by a widow two daughters two sons and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 pm from the family home with burial in the Town Cemetery.
