Funeral Services Held for Former Resident Mary Langston
Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Mary Langston of Indianapolis at Flanner Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary. Born near Rushville, she was daughter of Jacob S. and Elvira Buell Blacklidge and married Dr. O. B. Coffin in 1886, later widow of T. W. Langston. She lived in Carthage earlier, moved to Indianapolis in 1908, and was active in the Naomi chapter of the Eastern Star, Tabernacle Presbyterian, the D. A. R., MecGuffey Club and Society of Indiana Pioneers. Survivors include son Kenneth B. Coffin of Indianapolis and brother Alfred Blacklidge of Montgomery, Alabama.
