Kathleen Williams Weds Robert J. Hine in Arlington Ceremony

Kathleen Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams, married Robert J. Hine of South Bend at a 2:30 p.m. ceremony Sunday in Arlington. The Rev. James R. Hine of Urbana officiated as vows were exchanged before a fireplace with candlebra and gladiola arrangements. The bride wore white rose paint lace with seed pearl details and carried a white Bible with an orchid. Matron of honor was Mrs. Robert Williams in light blue nylon marquisette.

Five Weeks Tour by Braybrooks Abroad

Mr and Mrs L L Braybrook of Syracuse New York spent five weeks touring the Mediterranean aboard an American export cargo ship from February 15 to May 20 visiting fourteen countries. They enjoyed Cairo Alexandria Pompeii and Edinburgh Scotland while celebrating their twenty fifth wedding anniversary. Mrs Braybrook visits her father Clyde C Henley this week.

Scout Troop No. 1 Meets at Library in August

The regular Scout Troop No. 1 meeting on August 5 at the library had nine members and one guest. No business was discussed. Games were played and the meeting adjourned. The next meeting is scheduled for August 12.

Webb serves with 25th Infantry Division in Korea

Pvt. James E. Webb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Webb of Carthage Indiana, serves as a rifleman in Company L, 25th Infantry Regiment. He arrived in Korea last month and has served in the Army since February 1951.

Dr Paul Foster Dies Suddenly at Holzer Hospital

Dr Paul C Foster 49 head obstetrician gynecologist at Holzer Hospital Gallipolis Ohio collapsed while dressing for a delivery and died despite colleagues efforts. He trained at Penn Chicago Tulane Iowa OSU taught there and served at Gallipolis since 1940. Memorial wing valued at 750000 planned. Services held Tuesday afternoon with hospital staff in uniform.
