Titanic Sinks After Iceberg Collision On Maiden Voyage
The Titanic struck a huge iceberg at 10 p m Sunday and sank four hours later off Newfoundland. Of 1304 aboard 868 were rescued, mainly women and children. Carpathia arrived in time to rescue all in the life boats. The disaster prompts questions on speed and fog as divers search the wreck.

The Ladies Aid of Fletcher M. E. Church held an Easter Wednesday gathering at Mrs E Buscher's home on April 10. About forty members attended a devotional, business meeting, and social with a rabbit hunt and a program including The Birds Love Story. Two new members joined and $13.00 was collected for Easter hearts.

Death of Mrs Bradburn in Dublin After Prolonged Illness
Mrs Mattie Bradburn aged 41 died after four months of suffering. Survived by husband Thomas Bradburn, her four daughters and her parents Mr and Mrs Isaac Thickston of Dublin. Neighbors cared for her, especially Mrs Clara Henley. Rev J Edgar Williams conducted the funeral at the house with interment in the town cemetery. Lewis and Son were funeral directors. Pallbearers named Jesse Henley Owen Henley Charlie White David White Jesse Henley and Wm Henley.

W J Henley of Indianapolis buys 21 acres called the V from Clark heirs while E N Hill buys the Clark residence north of the strawboard. Hill will move the old Clark home to the northwest corner and build a two story bungalow with basement baths on both floors and modern conveniences. Burglary Report At Beebee Home Near Lincoln Park
Mrs Clyde C Henley received a Chicago relatives letter describing a daytime burglary Friday before Easter. At about two o clock the Beebe chain wrist bag was opened and keys and a name address card taken. Two hours later the flat was entered and $35 worth of items including cash opera glasses and razors were stolen. Beds were torn in two rooms but silverware was left untouched. The Beebees fear further theft when absent and worry the thieves may return for bulkier valuables.
