Brenda Willey driver of a Rambler and passenger Betty were injured when they struck a parked truck trailer after failing to fix a flat. Both were taken to Rush Memorial Hospital for cuts and observation. Trooper Walter Love is investigating the accident.
Six women from East Street Christian Church attended a Walker Research Agency demonstration on Tuesday at the Methodist Church on East 49th Street. Attendees included Mrs. Paul, Mrs. Jack Lynch, and Mrs. Kenneth Bash.
A Bloomington woman sustained head and knee bruises after a two car collision at Charlottesville. The 1963 Ford was struck by Orville J. Ramsey 69 of Carthage driving a 1959 Rambler. Both vehicles were total losses and Ramsey failed to see the other car.
Harold Back leases Marathon Station from owner Noah Brooks. The station, previously run by Bob Jackson, has been closed for several weeks.

Leslie Archer received the 4H Horse and Pony Trophy and David Gruell won the Abercrombie Wildlife Treat.
John D. McDaniel, 60, longtime Knightstown resident, died Sunday morning at his home. Born September 16, 1906 in Carthage, he was a World War I veteran, American Legion member, and carpenter. Surviving: wife Mary of Greenfield. children Carole Davidson of Greenfield, Duane of Osceola, John of Greenfield, Richard and Nancy of Rushville. 13 grandchildren. one daughter deceased. Funeral 10:30 am Wednesday at Pasco Memorial Mortuary, Rev. J. C. Pierce officiating. Burial Walnut Ridge.
Raymond G. Forkner, general manager of Rush County REMC, is elected vice chairman of Hoosier Energy Division. The group, owned by 17 REMCs in Southern Indiana, will supply wholesale power to its members and serves about 95 000 rural families across 40 counties. A new transmission system and five substations are planned with a $600 000 value, and Rush County REMC will start receiving power in early 1969.

Sunday noon the Persuaders Sunday School Class of Charlottesville Friends Church held a cooperative dinner and social at Mr. and Mrs. Jack Speer's home with their families. A short business meeting followed and devotions from Psalm were led by Mrs. Speer. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Gene Silver and children and Mr. and Mrs. John Munden and their daughter.
