Receivers for the American Paper Products Company prepare court hearings in St Louis Missouri and Rushville Indiana on March 24 and April 6 1925 for a plan creating Carthage Corporation with 1 2 million in assets including 200 000 cash and 1 million plant value The plan provides creditors cash and preferred stock and establishes a new St Louis Corporation with Ley P Rexford named president and 100 000 in first mortgage bonds plus 75 000 in additional capital stock.
The St Louis corporation will acquire the St Louis plant of American Paper Products Co. Receivers for the company are Leys of St Louis, Mo., and the ancillary receiver John A Titsworth of Rushville.
Grace Overman won the county Oratorical contest held at Fletcher M. E. Church by unanimous judges decision. Judges included E. L. Rogers of Knights Town A L Gary of Rushville and Senator R H Hill. Carolyn Wilson placed second and Clara Cortner third in Rush County contests.
The ladies of Riverside church plan a market at 1 p m on the Saturday before Easter at Sharer and Monore's hardware store.
Shelbyville hosts District Meeting No 5 on Thursday April 9 with a business session and ManPerMeZe Deeee literary program open to the public at 7. Mrs. Edna Dagler of Rushville listed as organizer.
