DeWitt Perry Junior High PTA will meet Monday October 21 at 7 30 p m in the Homemaking Building. About 175 members have joined and a few shirts remain for joined families. Yearbooks will be distributed and the program will explore The Family A Firm Home Base using 1960s House Conference material.

The Farmers Branch Council of Garden Clubs invites adults to a card party on Saturday November 9 at 7 30 p m in the City Hall Community Room. Proceeds benefit the Valley View Beautification project with bridge canasta and dominoes, prizes and refreshments. Tickets are 1 per player from any club member, with participants from Farmers Branch Walwood Park Flower Fanciers and Suburban Spaders.
Miss Judy Mitchell daughter of Mr and Mrs Jack Mitchell of Carrollton has been elected reporter of the Freshman Class on the campus of Decatur Baptist College Decatur Texas The college claims the distinction of being the oldest junior college in the world.
The coming week’s school menu lists Walian Spaghetti and Cornbread on Monday, Hamburger on a bun on Tuesday, Chicken and Dumplings on Wednesday, and Corny Dog with Mustard on Thursday with desserts and side dishes.
