The Carrollton graduating class held a Sunday banquet at Mr. and Mrs Walter Stark's home after graduation exercises. Thirty three graduates attended with Sponsor Miss Stark and class mother Mrs McDonald. The event featured lunch with sandwiches, salad, cake and ice cream.

Rawnedy Jr of Dallas aged 7 years lost his life Saturday in Lake Dallas while boating with three companions. Edwards dropped an oar, dived to retrieve it and sank. A companion nearly drowned but was saved. He is survived by parents and a brother Rolind. He was nephew of Edwards who runs the Texaco station here.
A local message from Ed Dobbs County Tax Assessor praises community progress in Carrollton as the Texan Centennial Exposition approaches in Dallas.
