In Austin Texas January 3 The University of Texas will host a state conference for typing and shorthand teachers tied to the State Interscholastic League meet. Misa Florence Scullken 0% Mutant professor of business administration directs typewriting programs and serves as state director of the league tournament. Louis A Leslie Katherine Gibbs School authority will attend as guest and confer with attendees Friday afternoon and Saturday. A featured banquet and program will close the weekend with over 45 teachers expected to attend the league tournament and many more from within three hundred miles of Austin anticipated to participate.

Frank P. Skelton aged about 75 died at his home in Lewisville on February 1, 1938. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock p m in the Carrollton Methodist Church with Pastor Ny It officiating. Interment followed in Perry Cemetery. He was born December 18, 1862 in Tennessee and lived in Carrollton before moving to Lewisville twenty years ago.
