Carrollton, once a thriving Carroll County town, may be revived by the Carrollton Community Heritage Club. They aim to restore buildings, create a museum, and install a marker to highlight Carrollton as a pivotal chapter in local history.
St Anthony Regional Hospital announced a new partnership with Siouxland Community Blood Bank to provide blood and products starting August 1. The move follows a price rise from the National Red Cross, with St Anthony citing cost concerns and a larger inventory from Siouxland. The bank serves 17 hospitals across Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.
The Carroll SWCD and the city of Manning host a series of meetings at the American Legion Hall to gather input on the Upper West Nishnabotna River Watershed.
