St Anthony’s breaks ground for Alzheimer’s unit expansion
Ground broke Tuesday for a 7.5 million Alzheimer's unit addition at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in rural west central Iowa. The 18 bed unit, expanded day care, and respite services accompany remodeling of a 79-bed nursing home. Campaign for Dignity has raised over 2.5 million toward a 3 million goal with wide local support and honorary chairs. A construction webcam titled St Anthony Construction Dam will show progress online at the hospital site. Donations may be made through campaign leadership or development director Trish Roberts.
