Popular subscriptions fuel Georgia College of Agriculture support
The Georgia State College of Agriculture has received about 37 000 in subscriptions this year to advance its agricultural work. About 7 500 came directly to the college, the rest funding premiums and club work in communities. Donors, boards, and corporations back the effort, hoping the state will eventually provide fair support for agriculture. The contributors see private funding as a bridge to permanent state investment in modern farming education.
