Death of W H Shaw in Newnan Remembered Carrollton Mayor
Mr W H Shaw died at his sister's home in Newnan after suffering a stroke on Wednesday while returning from Atlanta. The 54 year old Carrollton native was mayor from 1913 to 1914 and later farmed. He is survived by his wife Mrs Al jig Shaw, a daughter Mrs G C Cook, and a son Mr W S Shaw. The funeral was held at his Dixie street residence with Rev Hamby officiating.
