Family and friends gathered at Uncle Harris Ashmore home last Wednesday the 1st to celebrate his eighty four years. Children grandchildren and great grandchildren joined a day of food and fun with lemonade and festive spirits. He remained lively and enjoyed the company as everyone departed satisfied. The Woman's Foreign Missionary Society of ME Church plans a meeting next Monday at 4 pm at the church. A full program is prepared covering Cuba including location climate people dress customs government US actions Mantangas and Havana topics, with sample slippers on display.
