One of the season’s large social affairs, a progressive dominoes party hosted by Misses Mary Lou New and Janet McRae on Rome street featured festive decor with holly and mistletoe, seven game tables, music by the Angelus, punch service, and a grape juice salad course for about forty guests. Miss Nora Shaw hosted another afternoon gathering for Miss Margaret Cooper of Macon, with three domino tables, holly decorations, bells, and a lunch of salad crackers and coffee. Guests included Misses Cooper Shank Parker Nap Kennedy Katherine Fain Eugenia and Nell Mandeville Mary Long Irene Bass and surrounding ladies Victorian society notes.
