Temple Fire Destroys Several Buildings Sunday Morning
A Sunday morning blaze in Temple destroyed the O.F. Mureros warehouse next to the hotel, the Dr. Moore drug store, and the Gamesboro Telephone offices. Dr. L. E. Kinney lost his entire stock of medicines with no insurance, while B. C. Robinson’s barbershop and Mr. Helton’s moved goods were also ruined. Insurance covered some losses at the Moore drug store and Muse restaurant, with Spruell’s and the telephone office heavily damaged. The telephone company works to repair the old Spruell office as Dr. Spruell plans a new clinic behind the post office.
