Third Annual Convention of District Sunday School Union
The Third Annual Convention of the Eventiesh District Sunday-school Association met in Waco with T. W. Dimmock presiding. Rev. J. E. Jones led devotionals, Prof. W. G. McDaniel delivered the welcome, and Prof. W. P. Mitchell answered. Delegates from Carroll, Douglas, Polk, Haralson, Paulding and other counties reported, with committees named for credentials, nominations, and resolutions. The group adopted measures on Sabbath observance, heard talks on Sunday school efficiency and music, and adjourned after a day of addresses and multiple sessions.
