Sorrowful notice from Sunday School Class No. 8 of Mr Zion S S on the death of Miss Ophie Bartlett aged 19 years. The farewell service featured a pastor and choir with hymns as family and friends mourn. a long list of relatives and class members expressed sympathy and shared memories.
Mr. Robert Hilburn wed Miss Mae Tucker on August 1 at 8 A. M. In Carrollton, Len H. Burson married Miss Della Phillips of Whooping Creek. Officiants were J. T Norman and P. J. in two ceremonies. A. D. Hagan and Miss Annie of DeLand also visited Georgia then Carrollton. A joint committee meeting for the Fourth District A. and M. fair and Farmers Union is set for 11 am next Saturday to plan the event.
