Town Board Grants 99 Year Sewer Franchise Amid Delays
The town board met Thursday and approved a 99 year private sewer franchise for Dr. J E McConnell James Frank Arnmbaugh D J Steffy and Jim McConnell along Harrison Street to Jims premises. Action postponed after threats of damages suits. Also approved Eliza E Speake’s addition plat and extended sewer work on Alexander Street. School and town tax levies were set and C A Ellis elected to the school board.

Risinger and Ellis Consolidate Property in Town Block
Risinger deeded an undivided half in parts of lots 67 and 68 to Claude A. Ellis. Their firm now owns a full corner lot 86 by 160 feet with a store. Risinger will move his house to face Eaton street, rent it, and build on a newly purchased lot from Carl Rotramel. They plan a second business building beside the existing one, a frame structure 25 feet wide on Alexander street and 100 feet deep, to be constructed this summer or fall.
