Prof. Bertram Sanders and Miss Helen Warner wed at nine Sunday morning at the Warner home in Carlisle. The ceremony was by Rev. W D Woods with a small gathering. Sanders, Carlisle schools superintendent, was re elected last week for another year. The bride, a lifelong Carlisle resident and musician, plans a month long wedding trip after visiting Sanders' parents in Connersville.

Four year old narrowly avoids injury after colt kicks
Jim Curtis son of Mr and Mrs Abe Curtis residing on South Court street had a close call when a mare and colt kicked him above the left eye. Son Joins Navy Crew for France Voyage
John G. Jenkins arrived from New York to visit his mother Mrs. Ella S. Jenkins. He is a gunner's mate third class on the cruiser Chattanooga and is set to join his ship in New York Tuesday night. The squadron under Admiral Sigsbee sails June 8 for Havre and Paris to retrieve Paul Jones's body, a voyage expected to last about one month.
