Local craftsman opens a new blacksmith shop at his home one mile west of Carliste on the Merom road near Busseron Creek Bridge. Prepared to do all kinds of blacksmithing in first class style.
Mrs Lillie E Risinger of Carlisle obtained a judgment for 1092 09 from The Federal Life Insurance Co Chicago on a life policy her husband Charles L Risinger held. The case tried November 4 1907 before Judge McMasters in Marion Superior Court Providence Room 1. Attorneys Arthur D Cutler and Holtzman Coleman represented the plaintiff while Judge Atkinson Larz Whitcomb and Hawkins Smith Hawkins defended the company.

Arthur D. Cutler chosen by heirs to settle Minnie Willis estate and qualify as administrator in Sullivan. Willis died September 20, 1907 leaving personal estate about $2,000 and land worth $8,000. Bond filed for $4,000 with R. T. Willis David Willis and George B. Willis as sureties.
