4H Donors Join Nationwide Push For National 4H Week
National 4-H Week runs October 7 to 13 under the theme 4-H Gets It All Together. About 5 percent of 4-H youths and half a million volunteer leaders, with 60 corporate sponsors, have supported the program through the National 4-H Service Committee in 1973, donating over 3 million dollars.

Construction starts next week on Kermac Vanadium plant in Soda Springs
Eight years ago a new Kermac Nuclear Fuels Vanadium plant is planned in Soda Springs to recover vanadium from phosphorus by products. The project is run by Kermac Nuclear Fuels, Inc., a Kerr-McGee subsidiary, with regional refining ties to Monsanto, FMC, and Central Farmers. The Utah Power and Light Co. board toured Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming sites noting ongoing regional development.
