Adult Classes Considered at PTA Meeting

Proposed courses include Defensive Driving Family Money Planning Typing and Shorthand Refresher Speedwriting Speed Reading and Emergency Self Help. Stanley Patterson and two relatives were logging near Mile Saturday when a tree nearly toppled. A swing to avoid the strike spared the elder Patterson from worse injury as a limb struck Stan on the knee. He later received twelve knee stitches and four stitches above the eye.

VEW Plans Voice Of America Contest
Members of VFW Post 9141 attended District 7 dinner in Pocatello. Attendees included Cmdr. Max Hadley and Auxilary Pres. Lucille Butterfield. Grace Air Force Captain Awarded Flying Cross
Maj. Mau rice VY. Clegg, son of Grace residents, received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medals for airlift missions in Southeast Asia. He earned the DFC for rescue at Landing Zone English in Vietnam and now serves as an associate professor of mathematics at the U S Air Force Academy.
