District Court sees reduced docket in Caribou County session
The Caribou County District Court met with Judge Henry McQuade and a mostly settled docket. A lone criminal case ended in a guilty plea. several attorneys attended from Pocatello Soda Springs and Blackfoot. Remained notes on 4-H talent winners Deniece Archibald Bever ly Hawker and Karen Simmons.

Railroad stockyards to relocate near town in Soda Springs
Soda Springs railroad men discuss moving the stockyards from the current site to a point near town. Only 15 cars of sheep shipped this month. The car famine persists with no relief in sight, about 190 cars ordered now and over 650 cars booked for September and October delivery.
