Farm Bureau to Sponsor Tree Planting Project
Grace Farm Bureau partners with Make America Beautiful to plant trees along the highway between Grace and Niter. About 30 trees were planted last year and 45 more will be added at a cost of 189 dollars. The Caribou County Fair board met on April 22 to outline this year’s fair program and assign workers. Extension agent Cecil Alldaffer led the session at the request of chairman Lowell Thomas. About 30 prior-year workers offered names for 1968 roles. letters will be sent next week to invite help across divisions. New members are Ross Hogan, Vester Olson, and Charles Reagan joined alongside holdover Lowell Thomas, Alice Smith, and Al Evans. A follow‑up meeting occurred May 6 to continue planning.
