Man Arrested After Attempted Abduction Near Soda Springs

Birdt, a New York City native and Kings Point graduate, holds a MS in International Affairs and served in World War II. Safe Traffic Patrol Boosts Soda Springs Students
Sixteen fifth graders at Soda Springs Elementary staff a school crosswalk safety patrol trained by Chief Buck Lallatin. Patrol members direct traffic from 6:30 to 9:00 AM and 3:30 to 4:00 PM, report violators, and can identify cars and drivers. The program is sponsored by the City Law Department with uniforms and equipment supplied by Monsanto Company Wells Cargo and Stedderd Distributing Co.
