Mrs. Larry Oh hosted a farewell bridge party in Sherburne with friends present as she and Mrs. Russell Stoker prepared to see Sherburne depart next week to join Mr. Sherburne. Attendees included Mrs. Jack Porter and Mrs. Bruce Reese among others in festive carnations and bingo.
A Carnation drive will be held this week by the Caribou Chapter of the American War Mothers to aid mothers whose sons served. Proceeds from the sale will go to hospitals and veterans groups. A canvass will visit homes and grade school children will help the effort for about two months.
Three members were initiated by the Rebekahs at their meeting in the YOOF hall on April 28. Initiated were Mrs Maudesp Pratt Mrs Vernier Sonett and Mrs Clifford Birrer. The work was performed by Mesdames Myron Isle Junior Shuler Oscar eos was special. Dessert was served by Mrs Hattle Hines and Mrs Rulon Evans.

Mrs Styles announces the group's course of study and the next club event, the annual dinner and bridge party to meet at Mrs William T M Gagan's home on May 6 at 7 pm. It will be the last meeting until fall.
Graduation exercises for Soda Springs and Bancroft seminary biudentato will be held Saturday May 14 at the LDS chapel in Soda Springs. Pres Raymond, a noted youth advocate and speaker, will address graduates at 8 pm and a dance will follow in the recreation hall. Public is invited to attend.
A social gathering hosted Saturday honored Mr and Mrs Sherburne with a dinner party for friends. The event featured guests from the neighborhood, including Stan Isbell Stoker, Francis Rasmussen, Bid Woodall, Walter Widcox, and Jack Ball, with casual remarks and affectionate tributes as part of the evening.
Mothers from several families attended Mother's Weekend events at Idaho State College in Pocatello. Janet Garvin Black Marilyn Evans hosted and were feted at a strawberry breakfast and a program filled with campus activities and guest lectures.
