The Soda Springs Board twice voted to place the issue before voters, first for a three way consolidation and then for a two way plan with North Gem. The North Gem Board has not yet decided if the issue will be put to an official vote, delaying any further action.

Beet Growers Meetings in Bancroft and Grace Areas

At a Feb 28 meeting in North Gem High School Bancroft residents south of the tracks approved a regional sewer system by 74 to 11. Construction starts this spring with completion expected in August at an estimated $133,000.
