The Idaho Health Department announces a vaccination session on July 3 at 8:30 a.m. at the County Courthouse. Unregistered individuals must plan to attend. infants aged 1% months qualify for free DPT and smallpox protection, while adults should receive a tetanus booster and revaccination every 10 years. No August clinic. next session Sept 4.
A local fundraising drive continues through Friday to support the Caribou Hospital. Volunteers from the hospital auxiliary lead the effort with chairman Mrs Rex and Mrs Coleman coordinating at the Masonic Hall fire hall. The sale runs 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with proceeds aiding the Extended Care Home.
Cadet 211 Covers Air Virginia and Navy forces will prepare Apollo 11 mission covers. Coordinators for Task 130 and Atlantic and Pacific recovery forces seek stamped, standard covers six by nine inches with a red border. Send to Atlantic Affairs Office and to Mission 130 in California by required deadlines.
The Soda Springs Farm Bureau National Talent Fund contest will be held July 9 at 8 pm in the Soda Springs High School auditorium. Prizes will be awarded at local, county, and district levels with three age groups and an expense paid trip to Washington for the top state winner in the oldest group. Interested participants should contact Starley Clegg, Karen Bergholm, Ruth Ann LeFevre, or Sharon Butterfield.
Grace Area plans a Friday evening talent show at Grace Grade School Auditorium on June 27 at 8 p.m. Sumiko Aso of Japan will also perform.
Girl Scouts in the Soda Springs area are invited to join the Fourth of July parade with a rehearsal scheduled for Wednesday July 2 at 700 pm at Hooper Elementary School playground. Attendees will receive final details on parade time and uniforms during the meeting.

Wyoming visitors Mr and Mrs Carl Fowler and family from Buffalo arrived on Father's Day at the home of his brother and sister-in-law Mr and Mrs Jim Fowler and visited relatives until Thursday. They then left to visit family members in Utah.

Idaho State University plans a noncredit horseshoeing course July 7 to 10 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. in Education Building Room 347. Enrollment is limited to 12. fee is 25 dollars. Dan Applegate will teach using slides and could cover anatomy, hoof care, maintenance, and corrective shoeing.
Sno-Drifters will host their third annual dance on Saturday June 28 at Whitelocks Idaho. If rain interrupts the event it moves to Hooper Pavilion. A bicycle is to be given away on July 24 and will be displayed at various local businesses during July. Tickets are available from any club member.

Forest Ranger Roy Daniels reminds recreationists to buy the $7 Golden Eagle Passport before trips, at ranger stations, visitor centers, supervisor offices or the regional office in Ogden Utah, as it is not sold at sites. The $1 daily permit is self service at designated sites with posted instructions. The annual permit is valid through March 1970 at all federal recreation areas.

Jehovah's Witnesses invite Soda Springs congregation to join the international convention July 13 to 20 at Empire Stadium Vancouver BC. Delegates from Soda Springs join about 35 000 attendees from around the world for religious training and direct communication. Local families plan auto travel and about 7 000 volunteers will be needed to run the event.
Caribou County VFW Post and Auxiliary 9141 members attended the Idaho state convention in Osburn from June 18 to 21. Floyd Langston Virginia Kesler Ralph Christensen Lucille Butterfield and others represented Soda Springs Grace Bancroft and Bancroft executives with Butterfield named Youth Activities chairman for Idaho Auxiliary.
