The University of Idaho and Idaho Citizens Grazing Association unveil a 10 acre range study on leased lands in Soda Springs South Idaho. Lead by Dr. Lee, students Ron Dean and others will assess range health problems and development options for state and private lands.

Student Wins Place at Utah Photography Clinic

Lansberry, son of Mr. hm Lansberry, attended a Utah State University ilism Clinic session in Logan. The event featured lectures on basics of photography and darkroom processing with eight students selected from the Utah Idaho area for the division.

War Mothers Honor Idaho Veterans at Convention Memorials

The Idaho State American War Mothers held Americanism and memorial services at Soda Springs High School during a three day state convention. Katie Schmidt led as memorial chaplain. Thirty six Idaho deceased War Mothers were honored with poems songs and candle ceremonies. Winners of state Americanism essays Teressa Dunford and Michael Davis received prizes. Boy Scout Troop 502 presented the Flag and analyzed the Pledge of Allegiance. The event closed with the Pledge and God Bless America.

Arizona Visitors Return After Week Long Stay

Mr and Mrs Norman Croney and Jerry and Marcy from Phoenix recently returned home after a week as guests of Mr and Mrs Charles Reagan. Despite rain Norman and Jerry enjoyed fishing and the Croneys revisited Soda Springs ties. Local gatherings were hosted by Thelma Corbett Alease Eldred Doyle Stiles and Leon Moore. Mrs Ralph Marriott and Mrs Edythe Lindhardt attended business in Preston Monday.

County 4-H Members Attend Moscow Congress

Caribou County 4 H Club members travel to Moscow for the Idaho 4 H Club Congress from June 15 to 20. The program includes classes workshops and tours at Potlatch Forest Lewiston mills to expose youth to on the job career opportunities. Dormitory housing will be provided with evening talent shows and entertainment.
