Safe travel with youngsters on road trips
A driving guide urges arriving by 6 pm and using naps for little travelers. Dress kids in cool, wrinkle resistant wear and pack light toys. Use a rear play area, stop for picnics, and enforce rules only after stopping safely. Carry snacks, thermos, cooler, and keep doors locked and windows away from arms.
