Sheriff Marriott arrested William Johnson after shots from a 30-30 rifle struck a car carrying juveniles passing the Civil War Troop camp on Main Street Bancroft. Johnson admitted firing at tires. he was charged with a misdemeanor and fined $100 with $100 damage payment ordered. camp moved on to Soda Springs then toward Washington, D. C.

Free Bowling Instruction During Bowling Week

Survey Cards Distributed To Area Farmers In Idaho
The Post Office Department will distribute about 20 000 live stock survey cards next week to aid the Idaho Statistician in forecasting livestock and poultry production and estimating crop planted areas and harvest outlooks for 1965. About 9 000 acreage cards will also be mailed to Crop Reporters to support state and national estimates, with officials stressing accuracy and avoiding duplication.

Federal recreation stickers go on sale in Soda Springs
Federal recreation stickers are on sale at the Soda Springs Forest office. The $7 annual sticker covers up to eight passengers in a non commercial auto and grants access to designated forest recreation areas and National Parks across 430 sites in southern Idaho Utah Nevada and eastern California. Daily and seasonal fees apply for non sticker users with proceeds funding the Land and Water Conservation Fund.
