The pianist and violin teacher Miss Bidnahy Dennis follows weeks later. The mission ary seminary has 25 applicants on the waiting list for lessons in the mountain town Findlay Republican.
Friday night at about 11.00 Mrs. Harry Williams heard a racket on the back porch and saw a man acting as lookout. Mr. Williams fired a shot at the intruder as he fled and neighbors investigated finding a clothes wringer overturned and a waste basket disturbed.

An 8 pound son named Robert Ennis to Mr and Mrs Robert Ferrell of Fort Wayne on a Sunday morning. A daughter to Mr and Mrs Otto Gottfried also reported.

Mrs Sarah Elizabeth Forsyth died at 344 South Vance Street Carey after several months illness. Funeral at her home Friday at 10 AM. She would have been 64. She was born West Liberty daughter of William and Francis Booth, married James Forsyth August 1 1880. One daughter Mrs Harry Dowell of Bellefontaine survives with relatives and mourners in the home.

Nathan Karr born April 6 1838 in Meigs County Ohio died September 16 1919 at his home two miles north of McCutchenville aged 81 years 5 months 10 days He lived in Crawford township Wyandot County most of his life married Ruth Seckley March 29 1869 and had seven children 13 grandchildren He served in Co D 49th O V I from August 14 1861 to December 25 1864 participating in major battles including Pittsburg Landing Corinth Stone River Chickamauga Atlanta Nashville and the Texas muster after discharge
Miss Alva Laws, a high school teacher, fell ill Wednesday with tonsillitis then returned to Carey where diphtheria was found in a mild form. Quarantine to be lifted today and she hopes to resume school work soon.
All women and girls in the county are urged to attend the Women's Co. Missionary Conference at the M. E. Church in Upper Sandusky on Thursday October 2 1919. Box lunch for the ladies at noon and at 6 pm for young women and girls. Coffee served by town ladies. Boost and bring a crowd.
Capt. Stanley Netts of the Wittenberg football team, who recently returned to school after army release, has accepted a Princeton offer and will leave on Monday the 22nd. Netts spent the summer as a guest of Fordyce Ogg of Springfield.
Peter Grant died at his Vanlue home last Saturday night. Born in Maryland he lived most of his life around Vanlue. He was eight years old. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Lutheran church in Vanlue with Rev. E Luther Spaid officiating.
W. J. Torrence resigns as Inen representative of Standard Oil Co to take a new post. Sym Geiser remains in charge of the station with Otto Tralgandle from Verseiles sent as Torrence's assistant.

The project seeks impartial data on church groups conflicts boundaries community centers and unused influences to guide denominational programs while preserving each churchs identity.
Bonds belonging to George Sullivan and H F Everett were found in boxes at Bucyrus City bank after a break in. Among recovered bonds were 2750 dollar, 200 dollar and 50 dollar notes stolen from Pandora Farmers Bank Raymond Deposit Bank and Vanine Banking Co. Over 29009 dollars in bonds traced through Otis Co Cleveland and institutions in Toledo and New York. Sullivan remained at large Friday. detectives seek him in Cleveland and Toledo.
R. O. Perkins purchases five lots on Worello Street and plans to build houses there. Two houses are already under construction. The carpenters will be Willis Schmuck, George Perkins, James Hood, and J. E. Coulter.
