Accident at county fair endangers Kear couple and horse

Dr Kear and wife of this city suffered injuries when a motor cyclist sped into the fair grounds crossing. The phaeton flipped, the horse fell, and Mrs Kear lay unconscious before being moved to Upper Sandusky. Mr Kear sprained his left shoulder. bystanders aided, rider accused of gross recklessness.

Boy Hurt by Horse Trampling Near Findlay

A thirteen year old son of Harry McNally living five miles east of Findlay was badly trampled while placing a horse in the barn. The horse stepped on his ankle, knocked him down and caused a head wound six inches long. He also suffered earlier injury from a dynamite blast last winter breaking coal, which damaged his right eye. He is the brother of Mrs. C. J. Krupp.

Correction on Democratic township treasurer vote tallies

The paper corrects last week's primary results for township treasurers in Crawford township. Beck and Wolfrum vote counts are adjusted: Beck 10 and 13 in Beck's precincts, Wolfrum 13 and 56 in precinct A, and 23 to 45 in precinct B, changing Wolfrum’s majority to 51.

Trustees Pay Off Last Electric Light Bond in City

The trustees of public affairs paid off the final electric light bond last Friday night, amounting to $1,000. There remains $14,000 in water works bonds, and holders prefer bonds to cash, blocking earlier payoff.

Professor Rangeler Dies After Prolonged Illness

Prof. H. H. Rangler of Findlay College died shortly before 2:00 a.m. Monday after years of tuberculosis. Son of the late A. Rangeler, he was 32, born on Limestone Ridge. He headed Findlay College Normal department for six years, was an ordained United Brethren minister, respected author and speaker of noted character.

Fertilizers Delivered by Philadelphia Firm Draw Farmers

Three car loads of fertilizers from J. P. Thomas & Co. of Philadelphia were taken by over fifty farming teams. A further car load could have been disposed of if available. The report shows farmers use fertilizers and trust a reliable supplier.
