Moses Reeves Dies in Lake Ridge New York Area
Moses Reeves died at a nephew’s home in Lake Ridge New York last Thursday born April 23 1835 in Lansing New York. He lived much of his life in Upper Sandusky and served through the Civil War. His remains were brought to Upper Sandusky for burial and a funeral was held Sunday led by Rev Runnels of the Episcopal church. Mervin Keener thanks contributors for a Grafanola to brighten his life in darkness caused by war blindness. Special thanks to Lt James Monroe and Attorney J S Hart. A Columbia Grafanola was bought from Foster Shumaker Co with $35 and two dozen records provided.
