Purchased greenhouses change hands in Carey
George Hacker of Findlay last week bought the Carey green houses from F. F. Scheel who ran them the past 11 years. Hacker previously operated greenhouses in Sandusky for two years and in Norwalk for three years. He has made Findlay his home and, with his wife, moved into Keller apartments. Scheel lives with Mrs. A Kear while arranging his affairs and has not decided future plans.

Auto Wrecked Near Huber Plant on Greenwood Street
Oscar Karg of Carey and Howard McKee of Alvada rode a Chevrolet sedan south toward the State Fair when it pulled onto Big Four trucks after crossing south wall area. The Big Four locomotive struck the car behind the left rear wheel causing the sedan to tilt onto its side. Five windows and one windshield broken. occupants escaped with virtually no injury. Karg drove the damaged car to Haberman Chevrolet Co. garage on Main Street. engine died near garage entrance and had to be pushed inside. Karg is 20 miles south of town. McKee 50 miles northwest. They were on a Marion to State Fair tour.

Auto Goes Into Ditch Near Delaware
Mr and Mrs Clint Baker and children Kitty and Wellington Miss Odessa Gilliland and Miss Ruth Law survived a collision six miles north of Delaware when a Chevrolet driven by Mr Baker avoided two slow autos and swerved off the road. The following car struck the Baker vehicle in the ditch injuring all occupants except Mr Baker. They were taken to Jane Case hospital and released except Miss Gilliland who suffered a cut under one eye.
