Ida Kinley Company at Snyder's Opera House Dec 4

The Ida Kinley Company will perform as the third number in Snyder's lecture series at Snyder's Opera House on Saturday December 4. The ensemble includes Ida Kinley soprano Edna Seymour cornetist Lillian Cochran reader and Marguerite Waugh violinist. Admission is 25 cents general and 35 cents for reserved seating.

Will of Samuel Lytle probated with specific bequests

The will probated last Thursday provides $500 to daughter Louisa Ludwig and $250 each to granddaughters Myrta G Houk and Hallie V Bish. The residue of the estate is divided among W. H. Lytle, Andrew Lytle, Louisa Ludwig, and the two granddaughters, with $300 deducted from Andrew Lytle’s share. Drawn September 16 1909 and witnessed by A H Kennerley and H G Chambers. W H Lytle acts as executor with bond.

Forty Years a Priest. Rev. Father J. G. Mizer to attend

Rev. Father J. G. Mizer will attend the celebration marking Rev. Father J. P. Gloden of Delphes being ordained a priest. Father Gloden previously served as pastor of Our Lady of Consolation Church where the shrine was established.

New Engine 6118 Enters Service on Findlay Carey Branch

The Findlay Courier reports engine 6118 placed in service on the Findlay Carey branch of the Big Four. A ten wheeler, it is the largest in regular use on the branch. tender carries 14 tons coal and 5000 gallons water. It negotiates sharp curves with ease and safety.

Ohio State Journal Reports Miss Leonora Huarpster Heads to China

The Ohio State Journal states Miss Leonora, daughter of Rev W. Huarpster, former pastor of the United Evangelical church, will become a missionary to Chang Sha China. She sails next August for two years of language study before teaching in a Chinese school. She graduated from Tokyo High School and Oberlin College.

Delegates Return From Pythian Sisters Convention

Mrs Clint Kemerley Mrs John McGuire Mrs L L Bond and Mrs Frank Stroup returned Friday from North Baltimore where they attended the district convention of the Pythian Sisters. Mrs Kemerley as a delegate received the past chief degree allowing attendance at the grand temple in Lima this fall.

Hull suspected in Bascom post office robbery and Nevada depot burglary

Hull now jailed on Bascom post office theft suspicions and tied to a prior Nevada depot burglary. Capt. Henry Stoll from Pennsylvania police traveled to Tiffin to help build the case. Hull was arrested in Fostoria on Saturday wearing tin shoes matching the Nevada depot theft and carrying dynamite and other stolen items.

Organ Gift At Lutheran Service Sparks Opening Recital Plans

At the Lutheran church after morning service last Sunday Mr Lilly, a builder, gave the pipe organ under installation a brief rial for those who remained. The wood work needs finishing and the organ is to be tuned. Plans are underway for an opening recital the week after next.
