In Upper Sandusky on Monday evening directors of all attending bands met with Homer Huffman presiding. They invited Prof. Eugene Weigle as critic and selected Luigini Ballet Egyptian second movement along with Bombasto March Queen City French National Defile and On Parade for massed band pieces. The festival is set for April 17 and the school bought 14 new instruments to rent with free lessons and low rates. A Crestline Carey game featured band demonstrations and Armistice Day parades are planned with both Upper Sandusky and Carey bands performing at the afternoon game.

Four Hurt In Auto Wreck Near Carey
Leonard Bookwalter 23 of Findlay suffered a fractured skull in a midnight accident on the Carey Upper Sandusky road near the John S Fox home two miles east of Carey. He allegedly sold advertising in a notebook at Green Springs a year ago and failed to publish the books after being confronted by Carl Zimmerman.
