Granville Hunter Dies at 1 PM in Salem Township
Granville Hunter aged 70s died Monday afternoon at 1:00 at his son Earl Hunters home south of Carey in Salem township. Paralysis caused his death after a weeklong illness. He was born March 3 1851 and lived as a farmer. He married Elizabeth Bruce who died years ago. He had one son Earl. Funeral held Wednesday at 2:00 from the residence and burial in St Paul Cemetery south of Vanlue.

Raid at Carey: six gallons whisky seized in Jerome Frisch case
Sheriff H B Stansbery Deputy Raymond Stansbery and Special Deputy F W Roszman raided the Jerome Frisch home in Carey around midnight Saturday and arrested Frisch and a man identified as Louis Dragage of Mortal. Dragage was caught leaving with a bag containing two gallon jugs of alleged whiskey. six gallons of whisky and fourteen gallons of beer were seized. Six other men were not arrested and will be arraigned next Saturday.

Pre-School Clinic Shows Healthy Results At Parish House

Autos Collide Near Carey Greenhouse Delivery Truck In Town
Last Thursday evening a Carey Greenhouse delivery truck driven by CoC Scheel collided with a Findlay car at the FE Findlay and Patterson streets corner. Leg Injury Report In Wood Yard Incident
