Carrie V Siddall moved from an apartment at W Findlay street in the Newcomer home to a home she recently bought on W Lincoln street Findlay. Henry Schumer and wife rent the Newcomer apartment and plan to move to Carey on June 6 from Bellevue. Schumer worked at National Lime and Stone Co for two years and they lived in Mrs Halloran's Findlay street apartment. Siddall was a dinner guest of Mrs Newcomer and her son Leslie last Wednesday evening.

California Couple Visit Washington Heads Home
Capt and Mrs Harold Krout of Corte Madera Calif spent the weekend of May 18 in Washington D C as guests of Capt and Mrs Emerson Armstrong. Both captains served together in Alaska early in the war and have been reassigned recently. Mrs Armstrong and her son Billy joined the group at Mrs Keller's home in Carey. Next weekend Capt Armstrong will visit to take his wife and son home. Capt Krout returned to California Saturday and his wife and daughter Jan will join him June 15.

Carey Priest to be ordained with first mass in parish ceremony

Mr and Mrs Jack French and their children Connie Barbara and James move this Thursday morning to Bowling Green where they bought a home on Main street. French formerly managed the local Kroger from August 1936 to March 1944, served in the Navy 1944 46, then managed the Carey store until October 1946, later was a supervisor until April this year when he became manager of the Kroger self service store in Bowling Green.
