Death of Addison G. Van O Linda in 64th year
Addison G. Van O Linda died at Robinwood Hospital after a stomach opening procedure failed to sustain life. Born August 12 1846 in Schenectady New York he moved to Ohio as a youth settling in Norwalk then Carey where he lived ever since. He married Agnes Carothers April 8 1878 and survived by her. Funeral at his South Vance street home with Rev E Luther Spaid officiating featured psalms and a sermon on life’s brevity. Interment followed at Spring Grove cemetery.

Pilgrimage crowd fills town for candle procession
On Wednesday pilgrims arrived by train and many stayed as 1700 formed the main procession at 10 00 with 1050 at the candle rite. Masses were held at multiple altars and a core of 2400 worshippers filled the church during Solemn High Mass.
