A large barn on Mrs. Ethel Grine farm one mile east of Adrian burned Tuesday forenoon. Fire department saved a large shed with corn cribs. nine Holstein cows two calves and other livestock were lost or harmed. Hog herd evacuated and machinery survived. Tenant Melford Swinehart found the milking machine out of service then working again minutes before the blaze. Loss not yet estimated as of Wednesday.
