A Queer Habit In A Twenty Nine Year Old Man
A young man aged twenty nine visited Dr Nichols to have a tooth drawn. On grabbing the tooth with forceps he found pins in the mouth. He says he keeps pins in his mouth constantly ten to twelve inches long and only swallows them by accident. The habit occurs during sleep meals and prayers. The doctor calls it the strangest habit they ever heard of.

A Saturday noon blaze at J. C. Dow's south of town started from a bed tick placed too close to a stove pipe. The telephones notified the town, the hook and ladder company helped extinguish the fire, and property damage is about seventy five dollars to the house, carpets, and clothing.
