Red Cross secretary aids Upper Sandusky fall victim

Mrs Crace fell in her home Monday forenoon, injuring back and head. Red Cross secretary Mrs Withrow promptly called Dr Crace and the physician, aiding response as Mr Crace arrived. The injured woman remained to rest and recover for a few days.

Village Council Advances W North Street Curb and Gutter Work

The village approved first reading of Ordinance 462 directing curb and gutter installation on W North Street from Lake Street to the western end as part of planned paving. Work will start mid month as funds become available with 20 percent village share. A petition also came for Frederick Street curb and gutter. other streets may follow in order of petition.

Music Students Earn Superior Ratings at District Auditions

Five soloists and one ensemble earned superior ratings at the OMEA District Music Solo and Ensemble Auditions at Heidelberg College Tiffin. Ohio banks and bankers are increasing gifts to 22 independent colleges through the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges. Appeals Court Upholds Tri County Ditch Judgment

The Third District Court of Appeals sustains the Common Pleas ruling on the Tri County Ditch petition filed by R J Lambert, Greeley Marshall and Paul Newcomer. The 18 mile drainage project drains about 23 000 acres and serves roughly 300 taxpayers across Wyandot, Seneca and Hancock counties.

The Carey Tractor Club met for the third time at 8 p.m. on March 8 at Creeger Implement Co. Forty attended? No, 28 of 29 members were present.
